I’m Ros and I joined the team at Mayne in January 2020 as a part-time veterinary surgeon. I’m from Colchester originally and qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in June 2011. After graduating I spent some time working in North London before returning to Colchester to work with my mum at Blackwater Vets and start a family. I now work part-time to allow me time to spend with my two children and my rescue dog called Macy. I love helping our clients and their pets but most of all the variety of veterinary work, once I operated on a Ring Tailed Lemur to amputate it’s toe!

Outside of work I spend most of my time looking after my children but I also enjoy keeping fit going to the gym and walking Macy as well as reading.
