Hello I’m Lindsey, I joined the nursing team at Mayne in 2018 having qualified back in 2008. I chose a career in veterinary nursing as medicine has always appealed to me and with my love of animals it seemed like the perfect match! It’s a very rewarding job and I particularly enjoy educating people toward how best to care for their pets. It’s also allowed me to work with some incredible animals, I’ve helped keep a lion asleep during an ultrasound scan at London Zoo, anaesthetised an iguana for surgery and helped treat my favourite bird, a raven (must be in the name!). I have one rescue dog, Annie a Labradoodle.
In addition to nursing I also teach yoga. Outside of work I enjoy being outdoors, looking after the planet, reading, and lots of playing with my daughter. I am one of the clinical coaches within the practice, training up the next generation of Veterinary Nurses. I am also the practices ‘Green Champion’ ensuring that our day to day running’s are in line with trying our best to protect the planet for future generations. I am so proud to call Mayne Vets home.
