Mayne Vets is an independent family run practice built on strong relationships, sustainability and compassion.
We believe the best possible care happens when vets and owners work together. That means open, transparent and honest conversations with advice and treatment options shared around what is right for both you and your pet.
We value spending time with owners and their pets which is why we offer 20 minute appointments. You will not find rigid systems or corporate targets here. You will find an experienced, compassionate and friendly team who know your name and genuinely care about your pet.
A caring touch for every paw
Your pet is part of your family. When you walk through our doors, you become part of our family too.
We take a collaborative approach to treatment, we explain options clearly, discuss the next stages together and support you every step of the way, from routine preventative care to complex, health concerns.
Our role is not just to treat. But to guide, support and work alongside you from puppy and kitten hood all the way through to your pets senior years.
Caring for pets and the planet
Being independent gives us freedom to practise responsibly.
We have been reducing and offsetting our carbon footprint since 2019. We invest in genuine reforestation and biodiversity projects that actively remove carbon from the atmosphere.
Sustainability is woven into how we operate every day, from the supplies we order to the way we practice veterinary medicine.
Members of our Wellness Club also benefit from having their pet’s carbon paw print offset.
We believe modern veterinary care should focus on the future, as well as the present.
